The goal of our recreational athletics programs is to introduce children to sports and build a love of the game they are engaging in. We also hope to foster a home for adult league sports to connect our community together through friendly competition.
Carbondale Park District
Adult Co-Ed Softball League
Round up your friends, coworkers, or neighbors and hit the field this fall! The Carbondale Park District’s Co-Ed Adult Softball League is a fun, recreational league for adults looking to stay active, enjoy some friendly competition, and spend Wednesday evenings at the ballpark.
Teams must include at least five male and five female players. The season will run for eight weeks, with professional umpires officiating.
A Manager’s meeting will be held on September 9 at 5:30 PM at the Lakeland Center (925 S. Giant City Rd. Carbondale, IL 62902) for interested teams!
Dates: September 16–November 4, 2026
Day: Wednesdays
Location: Jaycee Field at Evergreen Park, Carbondale
Fee: $400.00 per team
